• Unique Three Layer Technology - to absorb sweat, keeping the top layer dry and the bottom layer stable.  Change to: A top towelling layer to keep you dry, a middle absorbent layer and a stable bottom layer to hold your mat firm.

Bikram Yoga  is known for its transformative 90 minute classes that follow a sequence of 26 poses and breath holds in a room heated to 40 degrees. However some Hot Yoga studios still follow similar principles but offer shorter classes and vary the practice slightly.

The structured series of poses and breath holds was scientifically developed to engage the entire body, working through every muscle, joint, and organ.

It sure does! Our mat has been designed to use on its own, however it also has securing pockets on the top corners in case you prefer a thicker base for your practice.  

The Hot Yoga Solutions Mat is:  182cm x 63cm and will comfortably fit over most standard size yoga mats.

• Perfect for traveling to a yoga retreat or your overseas adventures. You can borrow a rubber mat and slot this over the top. This can help to improve stability, and improve hygiene without the risk of it slipping off like a towel often does!

Care instructions are included on  your Hot Yoga mat care label, however rest assured, our product has been designed to ensure the simplest of care is required to get you back on the mat as soon as possible. 

Step 1: 

Simply place your mat in your washing machine on a standard warm wash with your usual laundry detergent. 

 Step 2:

Hang out to dry in the shade. Do not tumble dry!

Step 3:

Wait until dry, pack in the carry bag and head off to class!  

As with all fabrics - please don’t use bleach, soak, or use ammonia based cleaners to preserve the integrity of material.

Using a towel is certainly an option for those just starting out, or when on the move. Once you’ve been practicing Hot Yoga or Pilates for a while however you’ll soon realise that this doesn’t really help your practice, or provide the support you need for some of the trickier poses. 

The Hot Yoga Solutions Mat has been designed to bring you the best of both worlds, and should enhance your practice, whether you’re a complete beginner, or a seasoned yogi.

• Towels can easily slip off and prevent the holds needed in your Hot Yoga Practice
• Towels can absorb sweat, however they end up feeling wet and not very comfortable by the end of class
• Hot Yoga Solutions Mat has purposely designed pockets to hold it in place over a rubber mat, so you can use by itself as it feels lovely and soft yet stable, or secure it over a rubber mat for those who prefer a thicker base for their practice without it slipping off or bunching up during practice.
• Extra extension of material to help support the rabbit pose, commonly known as the rabbit flap

It sure will! Used in the same way no matter the practice, you can use the Hot Yoga Mats for standard Yoga, Hot Yoga, Hot Pilates, Standard Pilates or any practice you would use a traditional yoga mat.

Thanks for asking! The brief was to create something unlike traditional yoga brands to help Hot Yoga Solutions stand out and demonstrate how we’re a little different. 

If you look closely you’ll see the shape of our logo looks a little like a fingerprint - representing the uniqueness of every individual that spends time on the mat. 

We introduced colour to represent the vibrant transfers of energy that comes with the practice of Hot Yoga, and the curved lines show the smoothness and fluidity of practice and movement. 

You might have also noticed the little colourful dot above the Y that almost looks like a person? This has been included to show the link between yoga, community and individual practice - with people at the core, demonstrating just how everyone’s journey is unique.
